Mélida Wines was born from the dream of two women – sisters, travellers and oenologists – of forging a unique and creative space able to blend the cultural development of Valladolid, and especially of their home village Mélida – home to a bustling population of 38 – with their fervent passion for wine.

This garage winery breaks away from the traditionally robust style often associated with Ribera. Instead, we see the gentle touch of soft hands, a more Burgundian approach to make wines with perfume and silk rather than oak and leather, revealing a different story to these historically heroic lands.

These are modern and delightful Tempranillos, just delicious.
