Climate & Soil
Sopla Poniente sprang to life through the collaborative genius of Pepe Rodríguez de Vera, MW Student, and Carlos Jiménez López-Quecuty, serving as marquistas in the pursuit of unique and incredible botas from ancient soleras. Moving from sacristía to sacristía, some more forsaken than others, their mission is to unveil and share with the world these incredible, veiled treasures that remain largely unknown.
The botas they select are then expertly blended according to Pepe’s discerning taste, which consistently aims for authenticity, singular personality, and emotional resonance. As they themselves put it, the real work is simply to restore value to something that already exists, something latent that only needs the right companion to reach its full potential.
